Managed hosting, on a server you own

Managed WordPress hosting usually means renting space on someone else's platform. ServerJuggler turns it around: it orders a VPS in your own account at DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, UpCloud, OVHcloud or AWS Lightsail, then sets up and maintains a self-hosted WordPress, Nextcloud or your own app on it - the convenience of managed hosting, with the freedom and price of a plain VPS.

ServerJuggler is not a hosting provider: we don't rent out servers or storage. The server and its costs stay in your own provider account.

Frequently asked questions

What is ServerJuggler?

A service that sets up and maintains web apps on a VPS you own: WordPress, Ghost, Nextcloud, Uptime Kuma, Forgejo, static sites and Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP (Laravel) or Elixir apps. You pick what you need, ServerJuggler installs it and keeps it updated and backed up.

Is ServerJuggler a hosting provider?

No. ServerJuggler doesn't sell hosting, storage or servers. Your server runs in your own account at a VPS provider and you pay the provider directly; ServerJuggler sets up and maintains the software on it.

Which hosting providers can I use?

DigitalOcean, Linode (Akamai), Vultr, UpCloud, OVHcloud and AWS Lightsail. The server is created in your own provider account, so you pay the provider directly.

Do I need technical skills?

No. You choose an app and a server size in the browser; ServerJuggler handles the operating system, web server, HTTPS certificates, database, DNS records, updates and backups.

Is it really my server?

Yes. You keep full root access and can log in, change anything yourself, or stop using ServerJuggler at any time. Your server and your data stay where they are.

How are backups handled?

Daily, rotated backups on the server, plus optional off-site copies to your own S3-compatible storage.
